Brit’s Home in Grand-Goâve, Haiti was built to honor the memory of Britney Gengel, who died tragically in the 2010 earthquake in Haiti along with approximately 300,000 others. 

 

Our commitment is to continue the compassion of Britney by serving the children of Haiti through sustaining a safe, nurturing home rooted in the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love while developing a sense of social responsibility, community involvement and unconditional love.

 

We are dedicated to raising the next generation of leaders in Haiti each and every day! Brit’s Home is based on the belief that every child has inherent dignity and worth and deserves to lead a happy life, full of love and understanding. Donations give the children at Be Like Brit access to everything they need to ensure a healthy and successful start to their lives: a strong faith, a nurturing atmosphere, proper nutrition, clothing, and hygiene along with age specific programming that provides the best environment for our children to grow and learn.
