CONVENTION GIFTS

In order to receive Convention package gifts, including but not limited to the Convention doll,

attendees must be present at the Convention event at the time gifts are distributed.

 

CAMERAS AND RECORDING DEVICES

Taking pictures and recording videos is encouraged at the Fashion Show, in the Competition Room, as well as the wonderful Live and Silent Auction one-of-a-kind creations. Please note that photographs, video and audio recording devices are prohibited during the Mattel

presentation and during the viewing of any other movies, slide presentations, or live entertainment. All other pictures, video or audio recordings of the 2026 Convention are for your personal and private use only and may not be otherwise shown publicly or offered for sale. Your entry into the Convention shall constitute your agreement and acceptance of these terms.

 

GO WITH THE THEME

This convention is all about celebrating the Barbie® doll and her love of all kinds of travel. Dress in your favorite fashions! It’s all about having fun. We will have a theme at each event for you to accent your wardrobe. Embracing the theme is a fun way to get into the spirit of the Convention.

 

FIRST TIMER’S ORIENTATION

If you have never attended a Barbie® Doll Convention, plan on attending the First Timer’s

Orientation, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 am.

 

ROOM SHOPPING

Room Shopping will be open in the days before the convention and ending Wednesday evening. We will attempt to group the majority of people selling from their rooms on several floors as a convenience for shoppers as well as other guests of the hotel. Each registered conventioneer that has confirmed they will be participating in Room Sales will receive one Room Sales door tag. Please refer to the schedule for pickup times. This tag is to be displayed on your private hotel room door handle, signaling that you are open for business. Room sales advertising will be allowed starting June 27, 2026, on the 2026 Convention Facebook page. Please see Room Sales for complete guidelines.

 

SALES ROOM

The Sales Room will have an incredible collection of items from the top dealers from around the world, amazing doll artists and individual collectors thinning their own collections. You may just find exactly what you have been looking for all year long, so save your pennies! The Sales room will be open Thursday and Friday to Conventioneers only and will open to the public on Saturday. To be a dealer in the largest of all Barbie® Doll Sales Room, fill in your Sales Room contract and reserve your tables at the Online Store starting December 6, 2025 at noon CST. SIGNS/ADVERTISEMENTS

Please do not post sales information on walls or elevators. Posting sales information anywhere

except on the Yapp app or Facebook group will result in removal and/or damage charges to the advertiser.

A special Yapp app will be available June 2026 to Conventioneers to use. Here you will find

schedules, announcements and other items to keep you organized.

 

PRIZE ROOM

Each year the Prize Room features a variety of dolls, outfits, accessories, gift baskets and unique items. Preorder your Prize Room pins with free tickets including a label with your name and registration # pre-printed. Refer to the schedule when to pick up your pre order prize room pins and tickets to allow yourself plenty of time to put your labels on the back of the tickets. You will not be able to do this in the Prize Room. Preorder starts December 6, 2025, through March 22, 2026. Prize Room stickers with free tickets will be available onsite as well for purchase. We recommend you make things easier for yourself by bringing your own address labels that include your registration number to place on the back of your prize room tickets.

 

TABLE GIFTS

At each meal event, the Convention Committee has some wonderful gifts and surprises planned for every Conventioneer. Some Conventioneers also partake in a tradition of giving gifts to their tablemate at a meal event or even every meal event. These “table gifts” are entirely optional and driven by individual choice. They are by no means mandatory or expected of every Conventioneer. Please refrain from interfering with the table settings placed by the Hotel and the centerpieces at each table if you are giving a table gift.

 

BE KIND TO VOLUNTEERS

The Steering Committee and Committee Chairs are 100% volunteers who have worked hard to make this Convention an enjoyable experience for you because, like you, we love our hobby. Our volunteers are from many doll clubs and from the local charities who are involved with the Convention. This is not a corporate or commercial enterprise that is designed to make money; our event is designed to delight you! Rest assured that we will do our best to meet your needs as our guests.
