Theme: We will be celebrating the Barbie® doll and her love of all kinds of travel.
From driving her Austin-Healey to flying the friendly skies in her United Friendship Airplane
to setting sail on a luxury cruise in her Dream Boat, she loves exploring our big world.
Wednesday - Let’s Go Glampin’ Reception/Silent Auction – This is not a seated event.
Dress suggestion is outdoor chic that is fun and comfortable. The Silent Auction will benefit
The Settlement Home for Children. The home is a licensed nonprofit organization that serves
individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse, and neglect. Their
programs are administered on a 10-acre campus, where there is a Residential Treatment
Center, Group Home Program, Transitional Living Program, Foster and Adoption Program,
Post-Adoption Services, and a University of Texas Charter School.

Thursday Lunch/Mattel Presentation – Road Trip!
Wear apparel from your own road trips or t-shirts from past Barbie® Conventions.
Friday Dinner/Live Auction – Yacht Club. Dress suggestions include classic nautical looks,
resort wear, or the captain or crew of the vessel. The live auction will benefit Austin Partners
in Education. For the last 19 years, Austin Partners in Education has connected the community
and the classroom to improve student college and career readiness. They believe that
investing in their students strengthens the community and local economy. Through academic
support and mentoring programs, they increase access to higher education.

Saturday Dinner - First Class. Dress suggestions include comfortable yet stylish looks that
reflect the premium black-tie experience or dress as a pilot or flight attendant. Evening ends
with presentation of the convention doll.
