BARBIE® DESIGNER STUDIO—MIX AND MATCH—YOU BE THE DESIGNER!

1. Collaborations: Take 3 different pieces from 3 Designer Mattel Collaborations and present the outfit on a vintage Mattel Doll.

2. Mattel Mod Doll wearing Mattel fashions released 1980 - 2000.

3. Barbie® and Same-size friends: Any Doll from Any Era wearing Mattel outfits  from any Era

A. Fashion Photography—Barbie® and Friends on the Catwalk

1. Photo of your Mattel doll wearing a Mattel designer collaboration. Photo must be freestanding in an 8x10 frame

2. Photo of 5 of your Mattel Dolls on the Catwalk wearing Mattel Designer Collaborations. Photo must be freestanding in an 8x10 frame

3. Photo of Icon with an Icon—photo of Barbie® taken in front / near an Iconic place. Photo must be freestanding in an 8x10 frame

4. Photo of your Recreation of an Iconic Magazine cover, please present a copy of the Original Magazine cover. Both photos must be freestanding in individual 8x10 frames

 

B. Non-traditional challenge—present your Mattel Doll in an original fashion designed by you made from non-fabric materials, nontoxic please. Doll must be presented on a stand.

 

C. Designer Challenge—You’re the designer. Create a one of a kind ensemble for Barbie® doll (no friends or family). Doll must be presented on a stand.

D. Fashion Illustration—Show your original fashion illustration for Barbie® in a  freestanding 8x10 frame

 

E. Dioramas—All dioramas must be no larger than 24” wide and 24” deep (no height restriction)

1. Create your own Fashion Runway using Barbie® & her Mattel-made friends

2. Create your own Fashion Design Studio using Barbie® & her Mattel-made friends

3. Create your own Barbie® Fashion Shop using Barbie® & her Mattel-made friends
